“Spark” will examine how Colvin was arrested on March 2, 1955, when she was just 15 in Montgomery, Alabama, for refusing to give up her seat to a white woman on a crowded, segregated bus. This happened nine months before Rosa Parks did the same thing that led to the Montgomery Bus boycotts.
