Bradley Cooper has started his own production company.

The Oscar-winning actor has teamed up with Weston Middleton – the associate producer of his hit “A Star Is Born” – to launch a new production house.

The duo are still trying to come up with a suitable name for their business, according to reports.

According to several media outlets, Cooper and Middleton will be supporting the “Hyperion” project: an adaptation based on the four-volume series of Dan Simmons novels.

Cooper has been involved with ‘Hyperion’ for a while now, and it was meant to be a TV series.

However, with all set to be made under Warner Bros. Pictures, the project will now have a cinematic version.
Graham King will produce the film under his GK Films banner and be adapted for the screen by Tom Spezialy.

The “Hyperion Cantos” series begins 700 years after the death of Old Earth, and at a time when the entire galaxy is at war. However, seven aliens embark on a journey to uncover the mysteries of the temporal tombs of the planet Hyperion. Interestingly, each of them feels like they alone will save humanity.

The entire series includes four books – ‘Hyperion’ (1989), ‘The Fall of Hyperion’ (1990), ‘Endymion’ (1996) and ‘The Rise of Endymion’ (1997).

No director’s name has emerged yet, but executive producer Hayley King will oversee the film’s development.
