Dhanush’s production house’s YouTube channel hacked; later restored | Tamil Cinema News

Major news shocked Dhanush fans on Tuesday, May 17, after the video for the song “Rowdy Baby” was removed from YouTube. According to reports, Dhanush’s production house’s YouTube channel was hacked and Sai Pallavi and Dhanush’s song, which had over 1 billion views, was removed from the channel.

The production house taking to Twitter via Digital Media Production said Wunderbar Films’ YouTube channel had been hacked and would be recovered. The statement reads: “Today, early morning, @wunderbarfilms_youtube channel has unfortunately been hacked and will be recovered shortly. @YouTubeIndia is assisting us in the process.”

Later, the production house announced on May 18 that his account had been restored.

The production house is owned by Dhanush and it was launched in 2010. Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush started the company together when she made her directorial debut in Tamil cinema with the movie ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Hasan. After ‘3’, the company produced hit hits like ‘Ethirneechal’, ‘VIP’, ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, ‘Kaala’, ‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Maari’ and ‘Maari 2’.

On the work side, Dhanush is awaiting the release of his film “Thiruchitrambalam” which is scheduled for theatrical release in July. Following this, he also has “The Gray Man” which will be released on OTT. Dhanush is currently filming for the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film ‘Vaathi’ which is being directed by Venky Atluri after completing his filming schedule for ‘Naane Varuven’ which marks Dhanush and Selvaraghan’s collaboration after a decade.
