Heather Thomson finally talks about her short duration of last season of “The Real Housewives of New York”.
In a recent appearance on the Podcast Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Thomson admitted that she felt like she had experienced a “dirty production” this season, which was a change from how the series had operated before.
“I told Bravo superiors that,” Thomson explained on the podcast. âI thought it was dirty production. I thought it was a self-produced. I didn’t like any of it.
Thomson also added: âI was actually talking to Carole [Radziwill] in the car service on the way home⦠She was angry for me because she knows how toxic it can be. And she knows what the internet is capable of and, you know, production and editing, you know, she was really worried about editing.
Thomson was a cast member on “The Real Housewives of New York” for seasons five through seven, but made a brief comeback for three episodes in season 13.
Thomson said she felt “unsatisfied” when she appeared on “Real Housewives of New York” last season.
In an interview in June 2021 with Entertainment tonight, Thomson revealed that she felt “unsatisfied” appearing in the final season of “The Real Housewives of New York”.

Thomson continued about his comeback, “I made a decision. I tested the waters, I did not sign the contract. I haven’t come back, but I never say never. Who knows what the future of ‘Housewives’ will be? Hope this is a long positive. I think casting is extremely important for these shows and I saw recently that New York City has huge casting coverage for their shows. So, I wish them all the best with this. If there is a way that I can lean and help, I would like to lean and help. But I wasn’t interested in doing that with the current cast this season.
