Australian production house and visual agency Crater is bringing its collective of creatives to Dubai, extending the company’s global reach from its headquarters in Sydney and expanding its international offering from London and European markets.

Founded in 2016, Crater offers its clientele an “always on” approach with its multi-territory presence that leverages each other to enable round-the-clock campaign delivery. Its core team in each region works in unison to tackle briefs and creative, as well as production set-up and execution. This sees a unique approach for its clients and brands who want to produce visual content globally and at a rapid pace as demanded by its audience.

Crater ME is led by the company’s Australian founder, Simon Morehead, and Britain’s James Hulbert, a Dubai-based creator and director who brings a wealth of local knowledge to the outfit. Both are film industry veterans with decades of long-form production experience across internationally acclaimed shows, as well as an abundance of short credits and award-winning commercial work.

Crater’s collective skills mean the company works across a plethora of media that includes TV commercials, documentaries, music videos, branded and interactive content.

A partnership with Bureau Béatrice – the creative technology company, known for its work in VR/AR, Immersive Worlds, OOH and the Metaverse, provides a complementary skill set that will enable Crater to produce cutting-edge visual content for its clients across multiple layered formats.

Although it doesn’t officially hit the sands until January, Crater is firing on all cylinders and amassing an impressive roster of agencies and brands across the region. Recent projects have seen Crater work on several high-profile campaigns for high-profile clients in the automotive, fashion, travel, and FMCG industries.

Simon and James are also acclaimed international directors and work under ‘SOVEREIGNS’, a director and creative duo who combine their skills to offer agencies and brands double the ideas, double the experience and double the execution. .
