Aloe’s slate of films for 2021 included Worth, starring Barack and Michelle Obama’s Pebble, Higher Ground and Mad River Pictures, which premiered at Sundance 2020, starring Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci, and began to be aired on Netflix on September 3 to rave reviews and was consistently in the top ten; Flag Day, directed by and starring Sean Penn, Dylan Penn, Josh Brolin and Regina King via MGM’s United Releasing was released theatrically after our 2021 Cannes Film Festival premiere and will soon be on Amazon; Breach, with Bruce Willis; and Wander, starring Aaron Eckhardt and Tommy Lee Jones, which also recently came out. Their upcoming films in production and/or in production for 2022 include Groove Tails, currently in production, produced by, co-written and starring Jamie Foxx, and Marlowe, directed by Neil Jordan and starring Liam Neeson, which currently running. in Barcelona and Ireland. Upcoming projects slated for 2022 are Girl That Fell From The Sky, Ruin (which won the Blacklist Script 2017), directed by Rupert Sanders, and just announced in Crafts, Couture, written and directed by Nick Cassavetes. For 2022/2023, Aloe Entertainment’s internal projects include Armistice and Birds Eye, both picked up at WME.
