“Let It Be” is a celebration of Beatles music. The story takes place during the civil unrest of the 1960s. It follows the journey of two families, longtime neighbors, the Martins and the Joneses. Bill Martin is at odds with his three daughters as they mourn the passing of their wife/mother and learn to become a new family unit: Loretta rebels, Rita strikes up a romance with Jones’ son Jude, and Lucy completely stopped talking. When Jude is drafted, the Jones family is torn and struggling over his loss. As the two fractured families lean on each other more and more, in the end, they begin to find peace and rediscover love.

The show will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on January 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22; and at 2 p.m. on January 16 and 23. Call 207-783-0958 or visit LACLT.com for tickets and information.
