Røde unveils the Rødecaster Pro 2 audio production studio
Røde reveals the Rodecaster Pro 2, the updated version of the popular Rødecaster Pro. Røde offers many products such as microphones, headphones, interfaces and software for different creatives such as streamers, musicians and content creators. The Rodecaster was designed to be the most professional solution for musicians who want to record and mix audio in connection with a DAW and create content at the highest level possible.
The rodeRoulette Pro 2 obviously remained in the same clean, streamlined look as its predecessor. But the 5.5 inch high definition screen now has a slight angle for better viewing of mixer tracks and can be controlled with a haptic feedback touchscreen. All 8 smart banks with remained pads and you can connect them with direct effects such as Voice Effects, Reverb, Echo, Pitch and Robot FX. Its limitless usefulness can be seen with connected MIDI control.

Microphones, instruments, line level instruments and other equipment can be connected to the Rodecaster Pro 2 to achieve crisp, clear sound thanks to the High Gain Revolution preamps and Low-Noise level engine. Connected with Studio-grade APHEX audio processing and built-in effects, there’s no limit to recording everything you need. With 9 assignable channels and 6 physical broadcast quality faders, you can mix your recordings directly to your liking.
While the first Rødecaster Pro was barely able to record plugged-in audio gear, the Professional 2 is able to record and be connected with advanced Bluetooth connections for calls, speakers and mobile phones. Your recordings can be saved to a microSD card or USB storage device and to your computer. To ensure that creatives always have the best software and can maintain the high quality of recordings, it can be updated regularly wirelessly or you can download it via Røde Central.
